Cheshire Phoenix overcame a 13 point first leg deficit to make it through to the BBL Cup Final with a 16 point win in London against the Lions. The London based side head an awful weekend after they lost by a point up in Leicester to the Riders on Friday night, that meant Riders are now just two points off leaders Newcastle Eagles with two games in hand. The Eagles were not in league action this weekend but did get through in the BBL Trophy, which began this weekend, by knocking out the Surrey Scorchers. The Scorchers themselves lost both games this weekend, going down to Sheffield Sharks in the Championship on Sunday, the Sharks themselves bouncing back from a ten point loss at Worcester Wolves in the other BBL Cup Semi Final, with the second leg in Sheffield in just over a weeks time. Plymouth Raiders saw off Bristol Flyers in another BBL Trophy Round One fixture, whilst Worcester Wolves completed a decent weekend by thrashing Team Northumbria by thirty points in the same competition. And finally in the battle at the bottom in Leeds, the Force were beaten by 18 points by the Manchester Giants, meaning the Yorkshire outfit go to the foot of the Championship Standings.

Here are next weekends fixtures
Friday 15th December

Sunday 17th December
